I found the picture of this deep sea creature yesterday. Take a look at yesterday's post. It was the inspiration for this necklace. Unfortunately, the necklace doesn't photograph so well. It's hard to get the color and translucence of the teardrop-shaped beads and the sparkle of those great vintage crystals. I'm not sure the necklace captures the exquisiteness of the creature, so I'll consider it more inspired by, or an homage to, this amazing image.
