Vintage! Beach pottery

I found a lovely seller, rubycquins, on etsy. She sells sea glass and beach pottery that she has picked up while beachcombing in Scotland. You know I'm always looking for new/old materials, and I became absolutely betwitched by her listings. How yummy, vintage pieces of pottery, polished and softened by the movement of the sea. When the envelope arrived, I fell in love. Each piece of pottery is so special, unique and full of charm.

One piece had a beautiful, delicate gray branch pattern with a border, and its shape was so unusual. I wire wrapped it, free form, and added a necklace of soft shimmering silver pearls and beads and an unusual rectangular toggle. So sweet. Here is my Scottish Sea necklace. What do you think?

  1. Oh it's just lovely! What a wonderful piece of pottery. I wish those kind of things washed up on our local shore. Nice work Miss MAB :)
