Vintage! Lucite blossoms

Sometimes, I look at my shop on etsy and think, "Man, I need a heaping dose of bright color in here!" Guess what came to my rescue? These bright and lovely vintage lucite flower beads. They're so adorable, like little blossoms for fairies and elves. This green pair, Liliput dangles, features two pair of lucite calla lilies, a darker one nestling inside a brighter one, with a freshwater pearl at the tip.

This vibrant purple pair, Morning Glory dangles, has sweet bell flowers with incredibly sparkly faceted vintage Austrian crystals. Nothing sparkles like vintage Austrian crystals. These are probably from the Forties, and are yummy beyond belief. These earrings are like a bit of springtime for your ears.

And, to go all full-out MAB all over you, here's a whole bouquet of orangey, corally lucite calla lilies, dangling delicately from a bright gold beaded necklace. The gold teardrop beads are incredible, and remind me of Russia and Fabrege eggs, so I called this one Sweet Czarina.

It's fab to find new/old materials to work with--gets the brain firing in different ways. And I have some springy color brightening my shop! That will help cheer up the second half of winter.
