Oh, Venus!

There's been much brouhaha about Venus Williams' sparkly, skimpy, clingy ensemble, worn at the U.S. Open this week. Apparently, the dress rode up quite a bit while she was playing, exposing equally bedazzled underoos. The commentators were keeping a dress adjustment count, because she kept pulling it down.

Venus designs all of her own outfits, often to fit into themes of the cities where tournaments take place. She said this one was inspired by New York City, so she covered it with fireworks.

What do I think? She's 6'1" and hits serves over a hundred miles an hour. Venus can wear whatever the heck she wants.
