Yep, I'm getting revved up for the upcoming sixth season of one of my favorite television shows of all time, "Project Runway." It returns on 20 August on the Lifetime Channel. Great news, for those of you who have repeatedly watched past seasons on DVD--there will be an All-Star Design Off Challenge Special airing before the premire of the new season. Very exciting. My third favorite "Project Runway" character will be appearing on the All Star Show, Jeffery Sebelia, the winner from Season Three.




Now, I know a lot of people who watched the show weren't huge fans of Jeffrey's for whatever reason, but you know what? I picked him as the winner from the start. He was a great character to watch, and I thought his designs were wonderful and innovative from the first challenge on. He liked the fellow contestants he liked, and was vocal about his reasons for his disliking others. His fantastic blue and yellow newspaper dress from the Recycling Challenge completely won me over, and his final collection was absolutely gorgeous, especially that zipper dress finale piece. Any controversy aside, his collection was the clear winner.



Even if you had issues with his personality, you have to admit that his relationship and obvious devotion to his son was genuine and touching. And the man came from a very dark place with his talent and spirit intact. I have great respect for anyone who has had the strength to do that and speak so earnestly about it. Can you imagine living and creating in such an environment, with that group of people, and not losing your mind? I cannot. At least Jeffrey kept his sense of humor 80% of the time.
