Project Runway! Not to overlook the winner

Sorry, I got so high off of the drama on last night's show that I didn't even feature a picture of the winning design. I'd like to admit that I was wrong. This design of Irina's should have won. It's easier to see it in the online photos than it was on television. This is absolutely fab, when you remember that it's entirely made of newspaper. The collar and cuffs are pretty terrific, aren't they? And it's so newspapery. It had great presence and visual impact, but it would be lousy in the rain.
Plus, she also gave us a bit of persnickety drama. What do you think?

  1. Don't think I would wear it to work, but it's pretty awesome! :)

  2. I love that useless paper raincoat! It was definitely my fave, and I was surprised it came from her, I was about to write her off. Lastnight was a great show, it seemed like a level playing field that really brought out the true colors of each designer. I'm starting to hone in on favorites...

  4. I loved the coat but the feather dress and the way it moved was unbelievable!
Why did Johnny makeup a silly lie, didn't get it.

  5. You know, I rewatched it last night, and the coat was just a teeny bit better. But I did love that feathery dress as well. That was a ton of work, and that little guy is so adorable.
