On the subjective nature of art

A little first grade girl turned in the drawing below for an assignment on "What does your mom or dad do at work?"
After the teacher had graded it, and the daughter brought it home, the mother sent the note below back to school in repsonse to this lovely creation:
"Dear Ms. Davis, I would like to very clearly explain my child's drawing. It is NOT of me dancing on a pole on the stage of a strip club. I work at Home Depot and had commented to my daughter how much money we made during the recent snowstorm. This drawing is of me selling a snow shovel. Sincerely, Mrs. Harrington"
